About Me

Hi, my name is Jacie and for the last 15 years, I’ve taught yoga right here in Fairbanks, Alaska. I founded and launched local yoga studio Fairbanks Yoga in 2016 and have certified over 45 teachers through my 200-hour yoga teacher trainings. My teaching style is rooted in providing accessible classes through clear instruction, intelligent sequences, and hands-on assists. I aim to teach to students of all levels, offering variations and options in an environment that feels welcoming, inclusive and safe. You can find more info on my in-person class schedule HERE

Outside the yoga studio, I enjoy spending my time at the pottery wheel in my home studio. Pottery has been a great creative outlet and I love sharing my work at local events. Aside from having my own pottery business, I also currently help organize the Fairbanks Potters Guild, a wonderful little community group that hosts workshops, art shows, and sells pots during the summer as a collective at the Tanana Valley Farmers Market. You can find my current list of events and where you can find my art HERE

In July of 2025, I took career leap and sold Fairbanks Yoga to pursue a new goal— massage therapy. I graduated massage school in April 2026 and immediately attended additional trainings in intraoral (gloves on for internal jaw work) and Ashiatsu (barefoot massage). More info on these modalities HERE. My goal is to support people in healing, regulating their nervous systems, and feeling deeply cared for by using all the tools I have as a body worker and pulling from my extensive anatomical knowledge from my yoga career.

I look forward to connecting with you, whether it be in class, at a pottery event, or one-on-one for massage!
